Removing the fans

The fans in a system might have to be replaced due to failure.

Removing and replacing a fan module: 2145-SV2 and 2145-SA2
Use this procedure to replace a faulty fan module in the node canister with a new one received from stock.
Removing the fans: 2145-SV1
You can remove any of the six fans in a SAN Volume Controller 2145-SV1 node.
Removing the fans: 2145-DH8
You can remove any of the four fans on a SAN Volume Controller 2145-DH8 node.
