Network adapter ports and indicators

A control enclosure can support several types of optional host interface adapters adapters.

10 Gbps Fibre Channel over Ethernet/iSCSI host interface adapter ports and indicators
If you selected 10 Gbps Fibre Channel over Ethernet/iSCSI host interface adapters for your Storwize V7000 Gen2 or Storwize V7000 Gen2+ system, the host interface adapters are preinstalled in each node canister.
25 Gbps Ethernet host interface adapter ports and indicators
You can install optional 2-port 25 Gbps Ethernet host interface adapters for your system.
Fibre Channel ports and indicators
If you specified Fibre Channel adapters for your system, the adapters are preinstalled in each node canister.
