USB ports on the node canister

Two USB ports are available on each Storwize® V7000 Gen2 or Storwize V7000 Gen2+ node canister.

The USB ports are numbered 1 on top and 2 on the bottom, as shown in Figure 1. One port is used during installation.

The USB ports have no indicators.

  •  1  Ethernet ports. The technician port is labeled T. It is used during installation.
  •  2  Serial-attached SCSI (SAS) ports.
  •  3  USB ports. Each canister has two USB ports.
