Procedure: Restarting a Storwize V7000 Gen2 enclosure

To restart a Storwize® V7000 Gen2 enclosure, you might have to reseat a node canister.

If enclosure input power was removed from both power supply units, the input power LED of both PSUs is off. To restart the enclosure, complete the following steps:
1. Ensure that both node canisters and PSUs are installed correctly.
2. Reconnect the input power to the enclosure PSUs.
Each canister power LED fast-blinks for a few seconds before it turns on. The node canister is online when its Status LED is on.
If either power supply unit of a control enclosure has output LEDs on, then the enclosure is already powered. In this enclosure, a node canister that has a slow flashing Power LED can be restarted by reseating the canister. After reseating, the canister power LED fast-blinks for a few seconds before it turns on. The node canister is online when its Status LED is on.
