Licensing and downloading the software

To use this software, you need to obtain a trust-based license and then download the installable software package.

Procedure

  1. Go to the IBM® Passport Advantage® website to obtain a trust-based license for the software.
  2. On the website, follow the directions to enter your IBM customer number (ICN) and the maximum number of terabytes of virtual storage to provision with your systems.
  3. Download the installable software package from the same IBM Passport Advantage website.
  4. In the management GUI, select System > Software Entitlement to verify the software.
  5. After verifying your software, select System > Licensed Functions and configure supported licenses You can also use the chlicense command to update licenses.
