SAN Volume Controller 2145-CF8 unused ports

The SAN Volume Controller 2145-CF8 can contain one port that is not used.

Figure 1 shows the one port that is not used during service procedures or normal use.

  •  1  Serial-attached SCSI (SAS) port

When present, this port is disabled in software to make the port inactive.

The SAS port is present when the optional high-speed SAS adapter is installed with one or more flash drives.
