Migrating logical units from the Fujitsu ETERNUS to the SAN Volume Controller system

You can use the standard migration procedure with the following restrictions:

  • The SAN Volume Controller system must have code level 4.2.0 or later installed before you start migration. Updates from previous SAN Volume Controller code levels to 4.2.0 or later causes all Fujitsu ETERNUS systems that are attached to be excluded.
  • You must configure the Fujitsu ETERNUS system to work with the SAN Volume Controller system before you start migration.
  • The subsystem device driver (SDD) and Fujitsu Multipath driver cannot coexist.
  • The SAN Volume Controller system must support all host code levels.
