Maximum file system size limits volume size

For certain Linux kernels, the maximum file system size is less than the LUN maximum size supported by the SAN Volume Controller.

For 2.4 Linux kernels, the maximum file system size is 512 bytes less than 1 terabyte (TB). For these kernels, this means that your volumes are limited to 1,099,511,627,264 bytes of capacity.
