You can identify the drive slot where
a flash drive is
located in a SAN Volume Controller 2145-CG8 or 2145-CF8 node
by using the SAN Volume Controller CLI.
About this task
To identify the node slot that a
flash drive is
located in, run the
lsmdisk command. To identify
additional information about a
flash drive,
run the
lsnodevpd command.
Procedure
- To locate a flash drive,
run the following command:
lsmdisk mdisk_name | mdisk_id
Where mdisk_name
| mdisk_id is the name or ID of the MDisk that is a flash drive.
Output
is similar to the following example. The
node_id and
node_name fields
identify the node that the
flash drive is
installed in. The
location field indicates the drive
slot that the
flash drive is
located in. If the field is blank, the MDisk is not a
flash drive in
a
SAN Volume Controller node.
