Concurrent maintenance on IBM XIV Storage System models

Concurrent maintenance is the capability to complete I/O operations on an IBM® XIV® Storage System models while simultaneously completing maintenance operations on the system.

Some maintenance operations might require a complete restart of IBM XIV Storage System systems. Such procedures are not supported when the system is attached to the SAN Volume Controller.

Other concurrent maintenance procedures are supported.
