GUI – Modifying the IP address or hostname of a storage array

At any time, you can modify the IP address or hostname of an added storage array.

About this task

If the management IP address or hostname of a storage array changes, you can update this change on Spectrum Control without having to remove or re-add the storage array.

Procedure

In the Storage Systems pane, move the mouse pointer over an array that you want to update, and then click the Edit button. The Array Settings dialog box is displayed.

Note: If a storage array has multiple management IP addresses, you can display all of them by moving the mouse pointer over the Hostname field in the Array Settings dialog box.
Enter the new management IP address or hostname of the storage array, and then click Apply.
