Adding an LDAP group

If LDAP is enabled, you can add an LDAP group that will provide any users that belong to that group access to Spectrum Connect.

About this task

You can add LDAP groups to authorize any user that belongs to that group for logging into Spectrum Connect and performing GUI or CLI management actions.

Procedure

  1. Click Users and Groups in the Settings menu.
    The Users and Groups dialog box is displayed.
  2. Select Groups at the top.
    The Groups list view displays and shows information for any existing LDAP groups.

  3. Click Add.
    The New LDAP Group dialog box is displayed.

  4. Enter the group name that is defined on the LDAP server and then click Apply.
    The name of the new group is added to the Groups list view.
