Creating a zone with Microsoft Windows Server 2012 Virtual HBA

This section describes creating a zone with Microsoft Windows Server 2012 Virtual HBA.

1. Create a zone using NPIV.
2. Create an alias and zone with the virtual port that you created in Creating a virtual port with Microsoft Windows Server 2012 Virtual HBA. However, do not add the host WWN to the zone.
   Note: The zone contains the new virtual port that you created and the storage. It is not necessary to reboot the host to make the NPIV port available.
