User response
- Determine the failing fan(s) from the fan indicator on the system board or from the text of the error data in the log. Each fan module contains two fans.
- For the 2145-DH8, mechanically stop fan or remove fan. If a fan is not installed, shut down the node, open it, and install the fan. If a fan is installed, replace fan FRU indicated by the FAN identifier that is supplied in the Extra data.
- Exchange the FRU for a new FRU.
- Go to repair verification MAP.
