OpenStack support summary

The Storwize® Cinder driver supports several OpenStack versions and releases of Storwize family products.

The following tables summarize the OpenStack versions that are supported by Storwize family products. An x in a column indicates that the specific release supports the OpenStack version. N/A indicates that the OpenStack version is not supported.

Note: As the following examples show, some of the Supported release columns in each table refer to multiple releases:
  • 7.6 includes Release 7.6.0 and Release 7.6.1.
  • 7.7 includes Release 7.7.0 and Release 7.7.1.
  • 7.8 includes Release 7.8.0 and Release 7.8.1.
  • 8.1 includes Release 8.1.0 through Release 8.1.3.

SAN Volume Controller support

Table 1 summarizes the OpenStack versions that are supported in each release of SAN Volume Controller .

Note: Starting in Release 8.1.0, Storwize V3500 and Storwize V3700 systems are no longer supported.
