Rack cabinet physical location

Before you install the system components, you must ensure that a suitable rack cabinet location is available.

When you plan the rack location and configuration for your system, consider the following key points:

  • Plan for the system nodes to be installed in a cabinet above any existing system components.
  • Do not place less deep units between deeper ones.
  • Allow spare rack unit space for cable runs and service access.
