rmvolumegroup

Use the rmvolumegroup command to remove a volume group from a system.

Syntax


>>- rmvolumegroup -- --+- volumegroup_name -+-- ---------------><
                       '- volumegroup_id ---'

volumegroup_name | volumegroup_id: (Required) Specifies the volume group name or ID for the volume to remove from the system. The value for the volume group ID must be a number and the value for the volume group name must be an alphanumeric string.

This command removes a volume group from a system.

Note: You cannot delete a volume group if it contains active volumes.
