Installing a 5U expansion enclosure ( SAN Volume Controller 2145-SV1 and SAN Volume Controller 2145-DH8 only)

Before you install the 5U expansion enclosure, review the following guidelines.

Notes:
  • The 2145-SV2 and 2145-SA2 control enclosures do not support any epxansion enclosures.
  • The 2145-92F , enclosure is supported on SAN Volume Controller 2145-SV1 and SAN Volume Controller 2145-DH8 systems that have software level 7.8.0 installed. If the system is not running that level of software, do not connect it to a enclosure.
  • All of the procedures that are provided for the 2145-92F , expansion enclosure are also applicable to 2147-92F expansion enclosures.
