clear

Use the clear command to erase files in the /tmp directory that were previously produced by other svcconfig commands. You can enter this command any time after a system has been created.

Syntax

Parameters

-all
Erases all configuration files.
-q | quiet
(Optional) Suppresses console output (STDOUT).
-v on | off
(Optional) Produces verbose output (on); the default is regular output (off).

Description

This command erases configuration files on the current configured node.

You can use the clear command without the -all parameter to erase files of the form:
/tmp/svc.config*.sh
/tmp/svc.config*.log
You can use the clear command with the -all parameter to erase files of the form:
/tmp/svc.config*.sh
/tmp/svc.config*.log
/tmp/svc.config*.xml
/tmp/svc.config*.bak

An invocation example

svcconfig clear -all
