deactivatefeature

Use the deactivatefeature command to deactivate a feature (such as encryption) or suspend a feature trial period.

Parameters

feature_id
(Required) Deactivates the feature (or feature trial). This ID is the unique ID as displayed when you use the lsfeature command, and is an incremental number (in the range 0 - 320).

Description

Before you deactivate the encryption feature, make sure that decryption is disabled on the system (by using the chencryption command). This command does not work if you attempt to remove an encryption license in the following situations:
  • Encryption is enabled.
  • The key license relates to one of the enclosures that are already cluster members.
