Planning to access MIB files for SNMP tools

Many IT organizations use Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) tools to monitor and extend data that identifies products and potential problems that those hardware and software products recognize. One component of the SNMP tools is the ability to read Management Information Bases (MIBs).

An MIB text file is information that the software and hardware products provide to SNMP. Products that run Spectrum Virtualize software provide one common MIB file per release.
