Managing Metro Mirror, Global Mirror, and active-active relationships

You can use the command-line interface (CLI) to manage Metro Mirror, Global Mirror, and active-active relationships. To work with Metro Mirror or Global Mirror relationships in the management GUI, select Copy Services > Remote Copy > New relationship. Active-active relationships are automatically created when HyperSwap volumes are created with either the mkvolume command or with the Create Volume wizard in the management GUI.

Note: Avoid concurrent service actions that affect the same remote-copy relationship or consistency group in multiple clustered systems. Where possible, run command-line interface (CLI) commands, including scripted CLI commands, on each clustered system sequentially. Running commands sequentially ensures that no single relationship or consistency group is processing concurrent commands from multiple sources.
