IBM Tivoli Storage Manager Server Readme
Version 6, Release 1, Modification 3.2
ATTENTION
This is an interim fix (patch) level 6.1.3.2.
It is intended to provide relief for critical problems where a local circumvention is unavailable.
A limited amount of testing has been done to verify the fixes. Consequently, we strongly recommend that you perform additional
testing before putting the package into a production environment.
These fixes will be tested further by IBM Tivoli Storage Management and included in the next Maintenance/Fix
Pack Level.
Upgrade Issue for Level 6.1.3.2
An upgrade installation problem on Solaris SPARC has been identified for this interim fix level. The issue and a workaround are documented in Flash 1424919. This issue will be resolved in interim fix 6.1.3.3, which is projected to be available in April 2010.

Publication updates, limitations, and known problems are documented in the form of individual technotes in the Support knowledge base. Moving or Restoring Deduplicated data might result in data integrity problems
Tivoli Storage Manager servers that have deduplication enabled storage pools, might encounter data integrity problems under certain circumstances. This can happen if data is moved out of a deduplication enabled storage pool to a storage pool that is not enabled for deduplication, and is then moved back into a deduplication enabled storage pool. Temporary server option IGNORENUMVOLSCHECK
A temporary server option that can assign a higher priority to Virtual Tape Library volumes over other types of volumes is available. With the option enabled, the Tivoli Storage Manager server bypasses a check that compares the number of volume mounts required by each storage pool. For more information, see Techdoc 1417248.
