Labeling a Library Volume

To label tape volumes, first complete the following fields and then click Finish, or click Cancel to end this task. In automated libraries, you can check in the library's inventory, automatically as they are checked into a library.

Select the library where the volume is to be located. This parameter is required.

Specify the name of the volume being checked in. Do not enter this parameter if the Search Library parameter equals yes.

Enter the first and last volumes in a range of volume names. Separate the names by a comma with no intervening spaces. Use this parameter to limit the search when the Search Library parameter has a value of Yes. This parameter is optional.
